While not entirely a Pickett tradition by origin, the Pickett family is notorious for having houses divided straight down the middle--oftentimes the husband went to Georgia Tech and the wife went to Georgia. It makes the Fridays after Thanksgiving very interesting...
With Bulldogs often referring to the Yellow Jackets as "nerds who can't play football," and Yellow Jackets referring to the Bulldogs as "idiots who can't spell," this rivalry is one of the South's oldest and most storied. While today it isn't nearly as important as the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party and the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry, it's still well alive within the family.
